New IT Purchase form automates approvals, accessibility document required

The IT Purchase Request form that all faculty and staff must submit before making a technology-related purchase was updated to automate approval.

Cybersecurity awareness training begins Oct. 6, must be completed within 45 days

To help protect the integrity of WVU systems and data, and reduce the risk of a damaging security incident, employees on all campuses are required to complete annual cybersecurity awareness training.

Prepare backup device for multi-factor authentication, bypass codes end Oct. 1

When Duo Mobile is retired on October 1, previous backup methods for authentication will no longer exist. The ability to generate your own passcodes ended June 1, and after Oct. 1, you WON’T be able to call the Service Desk to get a one-time bypass code.
