Improvements coming: SPoT unavailable during system upgrade Jan. 5-9

Blue, the platform used for Student Perceptions of Teaching (SPOT), will be unavailable from 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5 through 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, during a major system upgrade. When the work is complete, the sleek new home page will clearly display all open tasks and deadlines as soon as you log in.

The new look and feel should eliminate confusion that can occur when you have multiple tasks. After the upgrade, reports will show up directly below these tasks, so everything is on one page. You also will be able to change your display name, add a bio, and set other preferences.

Due to this scheduled outage, the SPOT survey will not be available during Winter Intersession this year.
