After the new login.wvu.edu self-service site launches July 1, you will be unable to change your password or unlock your account on Sundays between 12:01 a.m. and 1 p.m. You will still be able to print Duo backup codes, look up your WVUID number and change your account recovery contact information during the recurring maintenance window.
No immediate changes are required as part of the login.wvu.edu upgrade. However, the first time your password expires after July 1, you must claim your account in the new system before you can change your password. You will only have to do this once, and your new password will last for one year.
WVU is replacing the software behind login.wvu.edu because the vendor that created it is no longer in business. Please direct questions to ITSHelp@mail.wvu.edu.
