MAP error may be appearing when you try to log in; most browsers have a workaround

If you see an error message when logging into MAP, or a message indicating your connection is not private, you will have to take a second step to complete your login. We have verified that the cause in this case is NOT a security issue, but an expired certificate.

The second step will depend on your browser and may look different to different users. You will most likely have to click “Advanced,” “Show Details” or a similar message. You may be warned about the additional risks of proceeding. If you see this message, it is safe to proceed.

Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari will work at this time. Firefox will not. ITS is working with our vendors to resolve this issue. If you have questions or problems, please call the Service Desk at 304-293-4444.
