WVU employees retiring after Feb. 18 will have access to new retiree email account

Any current, benefits-eligible WVU employee who retires on or after Monday, Feb. 18 will automatically receive access to a new email account with an @retiree.wvu.edu suffix. This includes employees at the Health Sciences Center, and the Beckley and Keyser campuses. This change does not immediately affect past retirees or Emeritus retirees who have @mail.wvu.edu or @hsc.wvu.edu accounts.

Students: You can now use Mountie Bounty at Student Health

WVU Student Health now accepts Mountie Bounty as payment for insurance copayments, WVU Medicine balances and other health care services you don’t want billed to insurance. 

Mountie Bounty is a convenient, pre-paid debit-card function of your ID card, with no setup fees or minimum balances required. Just load money on your card at MyMountaineerCard.wvu.edu or ask someone else for Mountie Bounty on the same site. Parents and others may also send funds by visiting wvucard.wvu.edu and clicking the “Parent/Guest Add Mountie Bounty” button.
