Coming soon: All employees will begin using portal.wvu.edu to reach MyAccess tools

Sometime later this spring, you will no longer be able to navigate directly to myaccess.wvu.edu to reach administrative tools such as MyTime (Web Clock, Leave Requests), Mountaineer Marketplace and Pay Statement.

Instead, to improve both ease of use and the security of WVU systems, all employees will use portal.wvu.edu. Information Technology Services will provide updates as this project moves forward.

Everything currently under the tabs at myaccess.wvu.edu will eventually be available within the mobile-friendly Portal. Many services are already there. This change also will restore the ability to log into most systems from off-campus without using Citrix (MasterApps). Off-campus use of MAP, Data Miner and Discoverer Reports will continue to require Citrix for security reasons.

When you click a button or link in the Portal, you will have to log in using your WVU credentials. You will also have to use two-factor authentication if you have already enrolled.

Faculty, staff and students each see different things in the Portal, depending on their roles. ITS recommends those who have never used the Portal visit it soon to become familiar with it. Be aware, though, that while the Portal is mobile-friendly, some services it links to are not.
