Researchers: Software Carpentry workshop set for Feb 24-25 at Downtown Library

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a two-day Software Carpentry workshop Feb. 24-25 at the Downtown Library. The event is set for 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in Room 104.

Material to be covered includes git version control and R programming. Short tutorials will alternate with hands-on practical exercises, and participants are encouraged to apply what they have learned to their own research problems. Participants should bring their own laptops and be sure to have admin privileges on them. Click the link below to register. Space is limited to 30 people.
