VoiceThread will replace Blackboard Voice Tools in eCampus on Dec. 28, and Information Technology Services is offering webinars and in-person training for those who want to become familiar with the new feature before the spring semester.
VoiceThread is already integrated with eCampus and accessible with a single click. It will automatically create an account when instructors log in, based on the user’s history with the system. When students and instructors click on the VoiceThread link within a course, VoiceThread will generate the group and add the user.
Creating: Upload, share and discuss documents, presentations, images, audio files and videos using more than 50 different types of media.
Commenting: Enter text, or use a microphone, webcam, phone or audio-file upload.
Sharing: Keep a VoiceThread private, share it with specific people or open it up to the entire world.
