ITS adding walk-up support station at Evansdale Library starting January 2016

Information Technology Services has opened a new Service Center offering walk-up technical support on the ground floor of the Evansdale Library and will continue offering ITS Connect service at the Mountainlair next to the Post Office.

Starting today (Jan. 11), hours at both locations will be 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday through February. Hours will expand to 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in March. ITS will reduce hours or close during holidays, University breaks and other times when students leave campus. ITS also will staff the locations with additional student workers during peak demand times, typically the first few weeks of each semester.

At both locations, staff can assist students and employees with a range of services and applications supported by ITS, such as eCampus, Office 365 and Login. They also provide connectivity support and basic diagnostics and troubleshooting.

The Technology Support Center in the basement of Brooke Tower also will provide application support, in addition to hardware repairs, virus remediation, software and connectivity support, and more. Visit tsc.wvu.edu for details.
