Off-campus access to MyHR, Data Miner and MAP will end Nov. 12

To improve the security of University employees’ personal information, the MyHR, Data Miner and MAP (Mountaineer Administrative Processes) connections in will no longer be available from off-campus computers.

Starting at close of business Thursday, Nov. 12, these services will be accessible only from the WVU.Encrypted network or a WVU IP address. This change will NOT affect time card and leave request approvals; those services will remain accessible from anywhere, as long as users have valid Login credentials.

MAP will be down 8-10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 for security patching

MAP (Mountaineer Administrative Processes) will be unavailable 8-10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 while Information Technology Services applies a security patch to support secure financial transactions. Users will see a “page not found” message until the work is complete.

All other MyAccess and MyTime applications will remain accessible; however, the Leave Request System and Data Miner will not display data while MAP is unavailable.

WVU OneDrive for Business users are NOT affected by Microsoft announcement
