Wireless users will not need to accept new security certificates after May 24 maintenance

Planned maintenance to the WVU wireless services will continue as previously announced from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, but users will no longer need to accept a new security certificate when the work is complete. Information Technology Services has decided not to change the certificates after evaluating possible impacts on users.

Anyone who is currently able to connect to WVU.Encrypted, WVU.Guest and eduroam will continue to be connected without taking any additional action. The current certificates will still ensure that users are safely connecting to the networks. ITS appreciates your patience with this maintenance period.
