Two previously independent information technology units have been consolidated with the Office of Information Technology, and the combined department is now called Information Technology Services.
The units merged are Administrative Technology Solutions (ATS), which supports Administration & Finance, and Student Systems Management (SSM), which supports student information systems such as eCampus and STAR.
Some leadership roles are changing as part of the reorganization, which is designed to improve efficiency, customer service and integration with the campus community. Other details of the transition will be resolved by July 1.
No changes are planned for the college IT units. Coordination will continue through the Academic IT Leaders.
