STAR and several related academic systems will be unavailable during the weekend of May 9-11 while Student Systems Management improves their functionality. STAR, Degree Works, Banner Document Management, Banner Workflow, and Argos will be offline from 5 p.m. May 9 until 6 p.m. May 11.
Argos is used for transcripts and reporting from STAR, while Banner Workflow is used for graduation applications and grade modifications.
The upgrades will not change the functionality of the self-service version of STAR used by most faculty members. However, the administrative version used for things such as financial aid, admissions and registration forms will require users to enter their MyID credentials to log in. Banner Workflow will also require MyID credentials.
MyID password changes will not be synchronized to STAR or MIX during the upgrade. If your MyID password is due to expire May 9-11, please change your password now to to avoid any potential synchronization problems.
To help reduce inconveniences, Student Systems Management scheduled this outage to occur after the end of the spring semester and before the start of summer classes May 17.
