Some eCampus tool access changing Tuesday, May 11

The way you access two third-party tools in eCampus – Crowdmark and Photo Roster – will change on Tuesday, May 11, as part of an ongoing, vendor-required upgrade scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon that day. These services may be unavailable during this time.

When the upgrade is complete, follow these instructions to launch the tools. Please note that existing assignments and links created with the current tools will need to be recreated.

The general functionality of these two tools will remain the same, though you may notice some improvements to Photo Roster when our work is complete. Photo Roster will include WVUID numbers, and for classes with large enrollment, student photos will be split into pages with 504 pictures per page. The instructor will be able to print out each page.

This work is part of an ongoing upgrade done at the end of each semester to minimize disruption. Blackboard requires that all eCampus third-party tool providers use new integration technology by December 2023. As vendors are ready to proceed, they notify WVU, and Information Technology Services tests, announces and implements the changes.
