How to Request an Appointment
Send email to email@example.com. A help desk ticket will be created and assigned to the ETD support group.
Appointments are scheduled in order of receipt; not all first choice appointment requests can be accommodated so be sure to have a couple of additional alternative times to meet. Personal assistance sessions can be scheduled throughout the semester with a minimum of one week advance notice. Walk-in support is not available. Any parking expenses are the responsibility of the student. For those graduate students who have left the Morgantown area, some types of support can be provided asynchronously via email attachments or synchronously via online appointments in a web conference tool.
How to Contact the ETD Technical Support Team
Every effort will be made to respond to your request for assistance by the end of the next WVU work day. Return calls and email replies will take place during University working hours, Mon-Fri.

- Phone: OIT Service Desk: 304-293-4444. An ETD Support Team member will contact you later via email or phone. Email is the preferred method of communication so it is important to provide the help desk with the email address you prefer the ETD support team to use.
- The ETD Technical Support team offices are located in One Waterfront Place on Don Knotts Boulevard (South University Ave/Route 119), a twenty minute walk or ten minute drive south of WVU's downtown campus. Team members can meet with students by appointment during established office hours. Appointments should be made at least one week in advance. Additional directions to find the ETD assistance location will be provided upon appointment confirmation. Any parking fees incurred are the student's responsibility. Walk-in support is not available - you must schedule an appointment before attempting to visit the OIT offices.
