PRT

If you paid the appropriate student fees you may use your Mountaineer Card to ride the PRT, WVU’s Personal Rapid Transit. PRT– Your Mountaineer Card can be swiped at all 5 PRT locations to transport you across campus—Note: You must be a registered student and pay the appropriate university fees to be eligible to use the PRT

PRINTING

Printing and copying at the libraries require a Mountaineer ID or copy card. The printer/copier/scanners at the Downtown Campus Library and the Evansdale Library do not accept coins or bills. Deposit money on your Mountaineer Card using a debit or credit card on the Deposit Mountie Bounty Online page.

SPORTING EVENTS

WVU Athletic events– Use your Mountaineer Card to attend football, basketball, and other athletic events on campus. Students are required to present their printed ticket and their Mountaineer Card (student ID) as they enter the stadium for football games. Instructions for obtaining tickets are located at wvugame. For card related questions, please call 304-293-CARD (2273). Standard replacement charges will apply.

LAUNDRY

Residence Hall laundry machines– All laundry machines in residence halls on campus have card readers on them—use Mountie Bounty at these machines by swiping your Mountaineer Card

WVU DINING SERVICES

If you have a meal plan, meals will be debited from your Mountaineer Card when you eat at eligible Dining locations on campus

WELLWVU

Use your Mountaineer Card to gain access to Student Health services

CARRUTH CENTER FOR COUNSELING

Use your Mountaineer Card to gain access to the Carruth Center for any psychological or psychiatric needs you may have

SELECT CAMPUS VENDING MACHINES

Many Coke and snack machines on campus have card readers on them—use Mountie Bounty to make purchases at these machines by swiping your Mountaineer Card

STUDENT RECREATION CENTER

Use your Mountaineer Card to gain access to the Student Recreation Center—Note: You must be a registered student and pay the appropriate university fees to be eligible to use the Student Recreation Center

RESIDENCE HALL ACCESS AT NIGHT

Most residence halls on campus will only permit entry into the building after a certain time with a valid Mountaineer Card

DOOR ACCESS

In addition to residence halls, there are numerous doors across campus that can be accessed by students, staff, faculty, and others by using the Mountaineer Card

COMPUTER LABS AND LIBRARIES

Use your Mountaineer Card to gain access to computer labs on campus and to check out materials from the libraries—Note: Students wishing to print or photocopy are required to use Mountie Bounty to do so since these locations do not accept cash or other forms of payment

Use your Mountaineer Card to gain access to WVUp All Night events in the Mountainlair
